| The
band was formed by bassist Tim Carlson, a seasoned veteran of the local
music scene. Consumed by a desire to bring a fresh prospective to
the local R&B, cover scene, Carlson contacted close friend drummer
Michael Peterson and percussionist Dustin Doepke, musicians who had worked
with Carlson on several studio projects. Doepke Then invited vocalists
Kay Livingston and Tammy Anderson to the band: thus the nucleus was formed.
A vocalist friend of Anderson and Livingston, Carmel Santocono, then came
on board, creating powerful three-punch vocal team. Love Train was then
introduced to jazz-trained keyboard player Karl Kornowski and was reunited
with their original, R&B influenced guitarist, Frank Nixon, to complete
the line-up. |
