and Prince, the seven-man live hip-hop unit known as Leroy Smokes puts
out records and draws sizeable crowds in the club scene. They also draw
comparisons to prolific artists such as Outkast, Kanye West, The Roots
and Black Eyed Peas. Having been selected in the top 17 out of a pool of
over 7,000 bands, they appeared in a reality show on FUSE TV (Bodog One
Million Dollar Band Battle). They are no strangers to accolades, winning
an L.A. Music award for their 2006 release, 'Love Hustle Theater' (BEST
RAP ALBUM). Leroy Smokes may have graced our television screens and produced
countless head-bobbin studio tracks... But at the end of the day, they
are still best known for high-energy live shows. If you haven't seen it,
