| Decibel
is on of the finest 93X bands in the marketplace. Combining music
that ranges from Accept, Alice in chains, Anthrax, Creed, Godsmack, Nickelback
to classic artists such as Dio, Whitesnake, and Ratt, Decibel prides themselves
in giving their fans the music they want performed only better by the original
artists themselves. Decibel was formed for the main reason to “get
over and to be accepted” and track record proves they have accomplished
their goal. This Minneapolis fueled super group features an all-star
lineup that was an offshoot to Conditioned Response, Gemini and Kings Machine.
Even though Conditioned Response received award recognitions for Best Hard
Rock Recording in 2000 and in 2001 for Best Hard Rock Group by the Minnesota
Music Academy, the group was becoming too focused on original material
without compromise and starting to fail on the bar circuit. As the
group was an arena act mentally but without national recognition or success
and not enough airplay to make a difference, a change was inevitable to
maintain the local commercial success and frequency of gigs they were accustomed
to. So, consequently, an offshoot for purpose of dodging local bar
owner opposition where an all original format was unacceptable for the
big dollars and with thepowers within the walls of group refusing attitude
adjustment, another entity was formed for an escape to the injustice.
Just some kick ass rock’n’roll fun blasting it out live by what a “cover
band” had their new audience charging their battery as the “new” Decibel
was revving it up on ten and becoming quickly Twin Cities newest undercover
alternative ego pop metal group.
