After
cutting his teeth with various college bands and acoustic duos, Dave Hudson
made his way through the Minneapolis music scene by writing and singing
his own blend of melodic acoustic-rock music. His style has been compared
to the likes of the Gin Blossoms, U2 and the Counting Crows.
Appearances
on NBC affiliate, KARE 11 and Clear Channel's Cities 97 in Minneapolis
pushed him into the performance spotlight, being touted by one local rock
critic as, "The leader of one of Minnesota's up-and-coming bands." Dave
Hudson's performances are engaging, sometimes thought-provoking and always
entertaining.
Throughout
his involvement in the Minnesota music scene, Dave has shared the stage
with the likes of Martin Zellar, G.B. Leighton, Tim Mohoney, The Blenders,
Panoramic Blue, Rebecca St. James, The Dweebs and Dazy Head Mazy.
His
self-styled mix of cover songs ranging from the 80's, 90's and today, blended
with his own recorded and nationally-released music is what has kept crowds
coming back for more.
Dave
Hudson currently tours full-time, promoting his latest CD release, "Far
From Solo." Look for him at various Colorado ski resorts and some of Minnesota
